What is Hot Water Extraction?
|
- Some companies call it "steam cleaning" but that is not quite accurate when it comes to describing how hot water extraction
works. In truth, there is little or no steam involved as a primary cleaning material. Instead, hot water and cleaning agents
are propelled into your carpet at high pressure, where they loosen up dirt, soil, and grime, while a high-powered vacuum removes
the hot water, dirt, and other contaminants. Major carpet manufacturers recommend using hot water extraction for cleaning
and maintaining their carpets (and some even require it or they will void the warrantee)
